DELTA WRESTLING CLUB

Freestyle Signups 2010 Season

JOIN: THE DELTA WRESLTING CLUB, AND HAVE FUN LEARN WRESTLING FUNDAMENTALS, BODY CONDITIONING, & SPORTSMANSHIP
  • Freestyle season is for boys and girls, ages 5 through High School.
  • Wrestlers will be separated into 3 groups (Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced depending on skill and level of commitment).
  • Beginner and Intermediate Wrestlers: The season will go from February 18th to May 8th
  • Advanced: The season will go from March 30th to June 6th with a post season tournament planned for June 20th-26th (West Kids & Cadet Regional Championships, Pocatello, ID)
  • We will also be traveling to local tournaments (schedule TBD)
  • A birth certificate (if not already on file) will be required for the Club’s files before the first tournament.
  • Kids will be practicing and competing with others their own age and weight.

SIGN-UPS: Signups deadline is March 1st for new signups. Please bring COPY of your child’s birth certificate.

COST: $160 for first child $130 for second child and $100 for each additional child. Signup fee includes USA Wrestling Card, wrestling gear (t-shirt and shorts), coaching at practice and tournaments (a list of tournaments coaches are attending will be provided). If continuing from Folkstyle season the fee is $100 per child.

Bring a copy of the filled out Signup form and a copy of your childs birth certificate to a delta wrestling practice.

CLUB PRACTICE(planned, may be adjusted due to group size and coaches availability):
Beginner: 2 days per week (Tuesday/Thursday 5:30-6:30)
Intermediate: 2 days per week (Tuesday/Thursday 6:30-7:30)
Advanced: 3 days per week (Monday/Wednesday/Friday 5:30-7:00)
